We Enter (and End) the Arms Race…

We’re pleased to announce today the availability of our new Arm and Elbow Sleeve products.  If you’re one of those who love our shorts, knickers, and lower leg sleeves, and asked “what about the upper half?” (and even if you didn’t) we invite you to take a minute to check out how we’ve brought better compression technology coupled with instant, mobile ice recovery, now to the arm and elbow.

After all, one of the keys to playing harder is getting back in the game faster, and that means speedier recovery.  Check them out, we’d love to know what you think…

Triathlete Sarah Haskins - USOC Athlete of the Month for May

For the second month in a row, the USOC has selected a Triathlete as its Athlete of the Month.  Following Hunter Kemper’s award for the month of April, Sarah Haskins was named athlete of the month for May, on strength of a pretty good showing (as in, 3 elite races, 3 wins):

http://www.usatriathlon.org/news/2011/06/13/triathlete-sarah-haskins-honored-as-usocs-may-athlete-of-the-month/42818

We had the pleasure of seeing Sarah perform (and win) at the St.Anthony’s Tri in St. Pete at the beginning of the month.  She followed that up with gold at Monterrey, Mexico (ITU World Cup event), and a win to close out the month in Austin on the 30th.

110% effort, and perfect results…we tip our race visors to Sarah, and thank her for helping move the great sport of Tri front and center.

If you get a chance to see this world class athlete perform, don’t pass it up!

Starky at Quassy, and beyond

Another fascinating race account from Andy Starykowicz.  As cool as it is to peer into the mind of racer on the course experiencing a roller coaster of thrills and setbacks all within one race, what’s even cooler is the video clips and other little goodies embedded in his post that really bring the experience to life.

As for Andy, we wish him well as he goes into recovery and training mode for his next event.  The approach to his craft, his inner drive, and desire to push the limits of what’s possible is the embodiment of the “110% Play Harder” philosophy.

thanks Andy!

Thanks, Dave!

Since David Green fitted me with the 110% calf sleeves at Boston Expo, I ran 2 marathons and heading out for my first Dances w Dirt 50 miler this w/e. My recovery after pushing (down the hill) in Boston was only 2-3 days (wearing compression), so I added the tights to my running wardrobe and ran in them the second race 13 days later. This stuff is phenomenal! After Big Sur 26.2  last w/e I had no pain whatsoever and was jumping around the cliffs of pacific coast the entire day following the race.  I even slipped an icepack into one pocket as I was jetting towards the finish line and it calmed down the annoying tension I was beginning to get.

Glad I made a stop at your booth.

Thanks!

Veronika
